Tasks

Description:The successful candidate will be capable of bridging the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers. Often functions as assistant project manager with an engineering background. Ascertains that engineering work is done according to plan by helping with design interpretation. Works with multi-discipline project team members to develop technical/functional solutions to strategic project objectives. Solutions are derived from available resources provided internally and/or externally, including policies and procedures. May serve as a proposal manager for small to medium projects. HSE Management - Ensures compliance with all HSE procedures and that that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participants. -Design Management Sets clear objectives for the design team. Ensures design team is aware of and complies with client's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes. Monitors design activities, interdiscipline data flow and communications. -Communications Management Ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes where required. -Scope Management Clearly defines scope and compliance with requirements of the contract. Effectively manages change control process application, project interfaces, including use of High Value Engineering Centers. -Quality Management Defines the project quality requirements. Ensures the right systems are in place and applied on the project. Develops a project schedule which allows work to be executed in logical sequences. Ensures compliance with Worley policies and procedures. -Risk Management Identifies project risks and opportunities. Monitors closure of all identified risks and opportunities. -HSE Management Ensures compliance with all HSE procedures and that that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participants. -Team Management Provides clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision. Focuses on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives. Provides mentoring and participates in staff performance evaluations.
