Tasks

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and testing equipment. -Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. -Learn to collect samples from job sites and assist in transporting them to the laboratory for further analysis. -Assist in conducting laboratory tests on construction materials, following standardized procedures and utilizing appropriate testing equipment. -Assist with field inspections of construction projects, working closely with experienced technicians and engineers to learn proper inspection techniques and procedures. -Record and document test results accurately, maintaining detailed records of findings and observations. -Support the team in preparing reports and summaries, contributing to the overall project documentation. -Perform materials testing under the guidance and supervision of senior technicians, ensuring compliance with established protocols.

-Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. -Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals. -Basic computer skills and proficiency in using standard software applications. -Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in recording and documenting data. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Valid driver's license and clean driving record. -Strong interest in the civil/structural engineering industry, with a desire to gain hands-on experience in the field and laboratory. -Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
