Tasks

-Raising Ramboll’s profile and reputation through networking and B2B’s. -Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of our teams’ sector capabilities. -Identifying competencies within Ramboll and deploying these on projects, to ensure that we meet, and exceed, our client’s expectations. -Participating in and where required managing tenders or proposals. -Identifying, tracking and pursuing opportunities within the sector, with a focus on the London market. -Building and maintaining trusting relationships with existing and future clients, collaborators and colleagues. -Contributing with industry best practice and client insights in the bidding, winning and execution of projects. -Influencing the continued evolvement and enrichment of Ramboll’s technical delivery teams. -Leading/Structural discipline lead on large multi-disciplinary project teams, supported by Project and Design Managers, to an agreed revenue target and profitability.

What You Bring

-Effective English oral and written communication skills. -Demonstrable experience leading and delivering structural engineering designs for projects within the Science sector. -Good knowledge of the sector and sector trends. -Experience and relationships with clients and collaborators working in the science sector, within the London market and / or nationally. -Ability to motivate and develop teams. -Solid client facing skills, with experience presenting to clients, securing new work, and preparing and negotiating proposals. -Chartered membership status of a relevant engineering institution.
