What You Bring

-Significant experience working for private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia. -Experience and expertise with financial and/or economic analysis of renewable power and/or hydrogen projects. -Successful track record in project management and leading teams. -Hands-on experience with grid connections advisory (e.g. to developers and/or system operators). Experience with transmission modelling software such as PSS/E or Digsilent would be an asset. -Excellent working knowledge of power markets, energy policy framework and technical regulations. -Technical expertise in providing regulatory/markets advisory to utilities and regulators and/or technical advisory services to developers/owners/investors of renewable and storage projects. -Familiarity with power regulation frameworks and power market design topics. -International experience in power sector consultancy – demonstrable experience outside of as well as within Australia would be an asset. -Native or professional-level competence in English. -Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities across Australia. -University and master’s degree in energy economics / economic regulation, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar. -Understanding of the complete energy ecosystem from generation, transmission, distribution and associated infrastructure with the ability to help conceptualise overall solution for prospective clients. -Excellent written communication skills.
