Evening Janitor

Overview

Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary environment for the facility during evening shifts.

Tasks

-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning schedules and union requirements are met consistently. -Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. -Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively in compliance with safety protocols. -Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel. -Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal across all assigned areas.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or equivalent. -Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety standards. -Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors. -Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required. -Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment used in commercial facilities. -Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic. -Experience working in a unionized environment. -Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. -Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. -Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
