Tasks

The Content Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that support business goals and meet employee needs. The strategist ensures content is high-quality, relevant, and accessible, and supports site owners in maintaining content and sites that meet best practices and standards. -Make recommendations for organizing, consolidating, migrating, or deleting sites. -Ensure key content is searchable and findable using Microsoft Search. -Develop content strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs. -Advise site owners on best practices for content management and digital work processes. -Conduct content audits and gap analyses across the company's network of sites. -Make recommendations for content placement between My Toolbox and MS Teams based on the audience. -Keep content up to date and ensure links work as expected. -Provide training and office hours for site owners. -Gather requirements for site updates, enhancements, or code changes. -Update and maintain training materials, quick reference guides (QRGs), and support documents. -Track performance using Power BI and the 7399 Search Console. -Apply user-centered design principles for intuitive site navigation. -Assist with technical configuration of content in SharePoint Online. -Track SharePoint permissions and manage external access requests. -Archive or delete outdated information. -Update older content to meet new standards. -Research and apply the latest Microsoft Search and SharePoint Online features. -Engage and collaborate with internal teams and business content owners. -Oversee content requirements and deliverables. -Ensure consistency and quality across all content.

What You Bring

User Experience -Familiarity with user experience, design methodology, and web accessibility standards. -3–5 years as a content strategist in a company or agency setting. -Design-focused and knowledgeable in search engine optimization (SEO) principles. -Comfortable with all aspects of project management and production. -Experience working in corporate environments with cross-functional teams. -Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. -Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. -Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, User Experience Design, or equivalent experience. -Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI is a plus. -Intermediate to advanced experience with SharePoint (site creation, permissions, page & content design).
