Develop and implement field safety programs for construction sites.

Tasks

-Conduct new hire safety orientations and assist with on-the-job training (Aerial Lift, Forklift, etc.). -Support pre-construction safety planning and assist in developing site-specific plans. -Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety program improvements. -Help develop safety meeting topics and monthly field communications. -Assist with reviewing work environments and identifying potential hazards. -Coach supervisors and field leadership on safe work practices and hazard recognition. -Oversee documentation, reporting, workers’ compensation processes, and compliance requirements. -Support implementation of OSHA, state, and company safety standards. -Participate in accident investigations and assist with documentation and root cause analysis. -Visit jobsites to observe crews, support hazard recognition, and promote safe practices. -Conduct regular jobsite assessments, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. -Participate in operations meetings and support project planning and execution. -Champion a proactive, people-first safety culture across our organization. -Recommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and safety strategies -Promote open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns. -Develop and deliver safety training programs that meet regulatory requirements. -Mentor developing safety team members and contribute to long-term department growth. -Respond to safety-related questions as a field resource.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards -Strong communication and relationship-building skills -Experience in construction safety, field operations, safety program support, or industrial environments -Ability to influence, coach, and encourage safe behavior -Professional certifications (CHST, OHST, CSP, TUV, etc.) — a plus, but not required for Specialist roles
