Tasks
-Collaborating with project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. -Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols at all times. -Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including labor and materials costs, and preparing reports as needed. -Providing technical support to clients and colleagues, including answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing training as needed. -Testing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems to ensure that they function correctly and meet the needs of clients. -Keeping up-to-date with changes in fire alarm codes and regulations, as well as industry best practices and new technologies. -Designing and programming fire alarm systems to meet the needs of clients, including selecting the appropriate equipment and configuring the system to meet local, state, and federal regulations. -Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, as well as industry best practices.

What You Bring
-Completion of a degree or certification program in a related field may also be required. -Must be familiar with specialized software and equipment used to program fire alarm systems, and have knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing these systems. -Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. -Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to perform the job duties. -Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Experience in fire alarm system programming, testing, and troubleshooting. -Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
