The Role

Overview

Support electric distribution projects by updating GIS data and field work.

Tasks

-Perform storm response work as needed. -Reference as-builts, work management logs, and other documentation to update GIS data reflecting completed electric distribution construction in the field. -Participate and collaborate in meetings with teammates, clients, and other stakeholders. -Obtain and manipulate GIS data at state and municipality levels. -Complete engineering design work and provide deliverables to clients. -Identify data inconsistencies and communicate with appropriate resources to ensure accurate data updates in client systems.

What You Bring

-0-2 years of relevant experience. -Willingness to travel overnight (10-20% travel). -High School Diploma or equivalent. -Ability to work in outdoor environments for field data collection. -Proficiency in GIS Software such as Small World, Esri Suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS, ArcWeb services and ArcGIS Server), QGIS. -Willingness to perform both field and office work. -Work effectively in an Agile team environment, prioritizing collaboration and feedback to meet high-quality standards. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Experience with CAD Software such as Bentley Systems (MicroStation), Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D). -Knowledge of Utility Client Standards is preferred. -Experience with design, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and GIS Tech Software. -Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, etc.). -Ability to utilize a personal vehicle.
