Tasks

-Oversee the management, planning, scheduling and oversight of multiple surveying and geospatial projects for both internal WSP projects, as well as our external clientele. -Screen and Hire new Team Members -Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. -Administer Contracts and Proposals -Maintain Responsible charge of all aspects of surveying and geospatial group within the region. -Represent WSP at external meetings, conference, and other business development related activities. -Promote a positive work environment

What You Bring

-Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the state of Florida -Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and surveys with a high degree of complexity. -Demonstrated technical competence leading and reviewing technical reports, survey mapping efforts, impact evaluations, siting reports, planning scopes, and environmental permit applications for assigned segments/project. -Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Surveying, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience.) -Highly proficient expertise with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. -Master’s Degree is preferred. -10+ years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior surveying experience in a corporate environment with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys. -Experience with Remote Sensing Project Delivery and Planning -Advanced proficiency with/of land survey principles, practices, process, methods and techniques. -Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. -Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC. -High-level experience with both public and private sector work (e.g. state, city, county, utility districts, and private land development.)
