Overview

Manage EPC project delivery, finance, contracts, vendors, and team for advanced facilities.

Tasks

-Allocate project estimate into financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoices -Manage overall financial health of projects -Provide financials and billings to accounting, create monthly owner billings -Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, including technical exhibits and project schedules -Manage subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selections of trade partners -Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, approve timecards, provide feedback -Handle billings, contract management, and change orders -Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phase for major subs and suppliers -Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections

What You Bring

-Preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following: commercial construction, renewable energy project development, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies. -Self-perform experience preferred -Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies -Proven ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects -Current driver’s license -Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills -Ability to travel 100% -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices -Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Minimum six years of related previous experience -Utility scale solar project experience preferred -Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level -Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
