Tasks

-Enters and processes customer orders. -Sells White Cap value proposition and products. -Prepares and executes account plans. -Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.

What You Bring

-Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics -Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members -This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report. -Spanish language proficiency -Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers. -Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience -Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities -Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance
