Overview

Design mechanical systems for industrial/mining projects in Canada.

Tasks

-Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to solve complex design challenges -Deliver mechanical designs and calculations that support safe, efficient industrial systems and HVAC installations -Create AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D models to bring mechanical systems to life -Apply national and provincial codes (NBC, OBC) and standards (ASHRAE, ASME, API, CSA) to ensure compliance and quality -Contribute to project planning and execution, gaining exposure to project management fundamentals

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits as needed -Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and mechanical equipment specifications -Proudly Canadian – born and raised in Québec, now operating in over 40 countries -2+ years of experience designing mechanical systems, ideally in industrial environments such as power plants, mines, or pulp and paper facilities -Proficient in AutoCAD and Plant3D; experience with Revit and BIM360 is a strong asset -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and actively pursuing P.Eng. designation with PEO
