Assemble VISTA switch units and subassemblies on production line.

Tasks
-Assemble VISTA Switch, both on the assembly line and directly on the shop floor. -Operate simple machinery such as automatic Press machines. -Perform mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures. -Identify, transport, install, mount and bolt all types of components (ranging from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs., with assistance), including bus assemblies, high-voltage switches, mounting and support plates, lock assemblies,

What You Bring
-4:30 pm- 3:30 am (Mon-Fri) -Pulling: Occasional use of electric hand truck to move parts a moderate distance. -High School diploma. -Reaching: Continuous full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees. -Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred. -Pushing: Occasional use of electric hand truck to move parts a moderate distance. -Bending: Frequent bending and crouching required to complete the assembly tasks. -Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with intermittent walking. -Knowledge and ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools. -Walking: Occasional walking moderate distances (less than 1/8 mile). -Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical operations. -Have proficiency in the use of simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges, instruments and overhead cranes. -Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. -Demonstrated ability to use basic shop math and measurement tools such as tape measures. -Ability to follow standard work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications. -Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs. -Handling: Continuous handling of parts ranging in size from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs. along with a variety of hand tools.
