Tasks
-Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables. -Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas. Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks. -Implement CI/CD in a diverse deployment environment. -Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. -Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables. -Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions. -Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. -Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. To include functionality, compilating, testing, and test execution. -Automate the production of documentation that acts as evidence to satisfy procedural requirements. -Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice.

-Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. -Adapts to new environments and changing requirements. Pivots quickly as needed. When coached, responds to need & seeks info from other sources -The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered. -Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence. -Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI). -This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. -Minimum 2 years of experience in software development. -Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks. -Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. -Learns organization vision statement and decision-making framework. Asks questions to clarify requirements when ambiguities are present. -Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team. -Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). -Understand performance parameters and assess application performance. -Experience using modern development tooling such as Git and testing frameworks. -Experience with front-end technologies such as Python, ASP.NET, WPF, ASP.NET Core, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS, and Fortran. -Experience with Web services.
