Tasks

-Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables. -Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas. Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks. -Implement CI/CD in a diverse deployment environment. -Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. -Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables. -Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions. -Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. -Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. To include functionality, compilating, testing, and test execution. -Automate the production of documentation that acts as evidence to satisfy procedural requirements. -Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice.

If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. -Minimum 2 years of experience in software development. -Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks. -Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. -Learns organization vision statement and decision-making framework. Asks questions to clarify requirements when ambiguities are present. -Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team. -Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). -Understand performance parameters and assess application performance. -Experience using modern development tooling such as Git and testing frameworks. -Experience with front-end technologies such as Python, ASP.NET, WPF, ASP.NET Core, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS, and Fortran. -Experience with Web services.
