Tasks
-Implements a security scorecard that measures the security risks and associated KPIs in order to measure the performance of the department -Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards -Defines and delivers on security strategy to protect the organization, implements automation, and drives for operational efficiencies -A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. -Partners with the CIO in providing security technology vision and direction for the enterprise, including the introduction of automation, process excellence, service providers, and technology to increase effectiveness and efficiency across the cyber security organization -Champions the cyber security strategy collaborating with SCE's key partners to establish the vision ensuring the mitigation of risk and the protection of internal data, customer data, intellectual property, people safety, buildings and equipment -Drives the implementation of SCE's cyber security roadmap, maintaining its cyber security posture with the established security technologies, services, policies, standards, and procedures -Identifies cybersecurity risks and trends, informing investment and strategy making and determining the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security -Steers business expectations and perceptions for enterprise security and supports ongoing two-way communication to ensure alignment with functional strategies, priorities and governance focused on achieving operational agility -Consults with IT functions and business leaders to identify and document enterprise cybersecurity risk data, likelihood and impact of various threats -Applies automation, process excellence, service providers, and technology to increase effectiveness and efficiency across the cyber security organization

What You Bring
-This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties. -Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. -Two or more years in cybersecurity, information security and/or information technology. -Three or more years of experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity architecture. -Proficient in security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs). -Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001). -Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. -Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, TOGAF). -Three or more years of experience budgeting and planning for a cybersecurity team. -Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management. -US Citizenship Required

-This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
