Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Tactical Planner

Tasks

-Aggregate and analyze customer forecasting inputs for our automotive segment -Compiles plant location data as available into BU aggregated dashboards (Via Microsoft PowerBI) such as backlog, finished goods, order book + trends, WIP, manufacturing rates, forecast and plan gaps etc. -Maintain customer forecast datasets and create PowerBI dashboards to bring visibility to customer changes and gaps to promise dates -Identify any areas of misalignment between tactical execution and forecasted results and elevate issues to S&OP Implementation Manager for resolution. -Supports regular interaction between manufacturing operations, finance, and commercial teams to reconcile issues and drive root cause solutions. -Clearly presents weekly tracking position of plant production/orders against expectations. -Support Near Term process events as required to meet productivity and cost objectives, including Kaizen workshops. -Develops all regular and ad-hoc reporting views to confirm near term implementation of S&OP forecast or to highlight gaps from expected. -Support and implementation of strategic and tactical plans for the execution of the Near-Term forecasting process.

Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements. -Experience in the Aluminum industry -5 years of experience in one of or a combination of operations, supply chain management, finance, or procurement. -Proficiency in MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint -Innovative, strategic thinker -This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. -S&OP planning experience -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Data Science/Analytics, Marketing/Communications, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited Institution. -Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. -Proficiency with PowerQuery and PowerBI -Communication and negotiation skills -MBA in Business Administration/Economics or similar -Understand the overall business strategy and objectives, plant operations, commercial, finance processes to support business requirements.
