Overview

Monitor security systems, investigate alerts, conduct vulnerability scans, and support compliance.

Tasks

-Maintain and improve information security documentation and contribute to the continual advancement of our ISMS -Monitor, analyse and respond to outputs from key security systems including SIEM, email security and endpoint protection tools -Promote a strong security culture throughout the organisation -Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing -Stay on the pulse of emerging security threats and technologies -Travel to other business sites when required -Get involved in exciting IT projects across the wider business -Assist in the investigation and triage of security alerts and incidents -Support the InfoSec Manager with any additional tasks as needed -Work across multiple sites and projects — no two days are the same -Carry out regular vulnerability scanning, remediation planning, and support internal/external security audits

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Information Security Analyst to join our growing IT team and play a vital role in safeguarding our business operations and information assets. -Professional qualification(s) such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+ or similar -Familiarity with security tools such as Nessus and WireShark -Experience working in an information security role -Degree in Cyber Security or a related field -Able to produce clear, accurate documentation -Awareness of standards such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and/or NIST -Knowledge of cloud services — ideally Azure -Understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery and secure development practices (OWASP Top 10) -Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

Benefits
