Tasks

-Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews -Ensure projects conform to contract -Production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks while also having the ability to produce drawings and specifications -Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs -Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative technical/constructible solutions -Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships through successful project delivery -Manage communication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants -Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project -Maintain and oversee the project manual and specifications -Managing client expectations, team communication and oversight of consultant coordination -Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.) -Responsible for oversight and delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality -Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of project -Resolves complex technical/design issues and detailing -Actively leading teams for successful delivery of projects -Provides guidance and mentorship to team -Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs

What You Bring

-Highly proficient in Revit -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills -Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy -A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment -Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios will ideally include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus -Approximately 3-6 years of related experience, ideally including demonstrated success delivering workplace and multi-site implementation projects within client standards -Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures -Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style -Ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships through successful project delivery -Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done -Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited university
