The Role

Overview

Design and manage sustainable landscape projects, including planting and irrigation plans.

Tasks

-Oversee construction administration tasks, including reviewing and responding to RFIs and submittals. -Prepare preliminary and final planting and irrigation plans in collaboration with senior staff. -Develop and present graphic materials for public meetings and stakeholder presentations. -Conduct on-site inspections and punch-list walkthroughs to ensure quality and compliance. -Design restoration plans for environmentally sensitive and critical areas.

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge of regional plant materials and construction practices; irrigation design experience is a plus. -Skilled in producing complete technical drawing sets, including construction plans and detailed specifications. -Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; professional licensure preferred (Washington State license a plus). -Strong understanding of development regulations and their application to planting plans, particularly in environmentally critical areas. -Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. -Proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver successful project outcomes. -Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills. -Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office; experience with Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino is a strong advantage.
