Tasks

-Ensure that policies, compliance rules and processes are properly implemented and observed -Manage relationship with key suppliers, coordinate execution of PO calloffs under MSAs or standalone contracts -Serve as the key interface between internal stakeholders for project procurement execution (Project Execution, Credit, Legal, AP, Logistics, Structured Finance, etc) -Resolve escalated supplier disputes or complex contract issues, guiding team members in developing resolution strategies while maintaining supplier relationships -Oversee the execution of procurement deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring alignment with portfolio-level timelines, budgets, and risk tolerances -Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with major equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and major contractors providing services to the renewable energy industry -Drive value by executing project procurement solutions and negotiating cost-savings -Work closely with the Project Execution, Credit and Legal teams to execute procurement strategies for projects and assure Supply Chain activities are performed consistent with established schedules and budgets -Implement the Procurement strategy for tendering, evaluating and contracting Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage equipment to support the new build PV and energy storage projects -Solar & Energy Storage Category and Contract Management (with primary focus on PV Modules and Inverters) - implement and proactively manage equipment contract execution with comprehensive understanding of the market and regulatory environment

-Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable -Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds -Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts -Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines -Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space -Minimum 8 years procurement work experience and a minimum of 5 years work experience in the renewable energy business with primary focus on solar PV and energy storage -Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time -Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team -Coordination skills to meet the needs of Development, Project Execution, and Energy Marketing (Partnering) to successfully construct solar farms and energy storage projects in North America -This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations -Bachelor’s Degree Minumum. Engineering or Business background -Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and respond quickly to changes in the build program -Thorough understanding of the market and regulatory environment -Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams -Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables -Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships -Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities -Proactive mindset for problem solving and risk mitigation -Knowledge of the procurement process and experience in negotiating large power generation equipment contracts.
