Overview
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for asphalt manufacturing plants.

Tasks
-access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Develop, implement, and monitor budgeting and forecasting processes. -Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors. -complete any part of the application process -Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights. -Collaborate with operations and management teams to enhance cost control measures. -Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. -Maintain and develop internal control procedures Uphold Colas ethics and business principles -Oversee inventory management and cost accounting processes. -Provide financial support for capital projects and investment decisions. -Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals. -Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

What You Bring
-Strong knowledge of both GAAP and IFRS including revenue recognition and lease accounting standards Previous experience managing a small team Ideal candidate will have CPA and/or CMA certification -At least 7 years of accounting work experience is acceptable for this position -Experience with JDE, Sage, Timberline, or other enterprise construction industry software a plus -Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require -Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction -Must possess excellent skills with Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel (intermediate level) -Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and follow-up on multiple concurrent tasks -Construction industry accounting experience including WIP reporting -Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise -A bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in accounting, finance or other applicable degree -Highly motivated, positive, professional, organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator -Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
