Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment to build telecom networks in Washington.

Tasks

-Install conduit, vaults, cable etc. i.e. doing labor work when not operating equipment -Take active role in Ledcor’s health and safety program -Operate HDD equipment in accordance with company and industry standards -Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor -Maintain company equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines

What You Bring

-This position will require travel throughout the state of Washington - per diem and travel accommodations will be provided -Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis -Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet) and perform work on uneven surfaces -Candidates must possess and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license; those holding a valid CDL are eligible for additional pay in recognition of the enhanced skills and responsibilities associated with the license -Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to related construction processes -Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements -Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program -Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials
