Tasks

-Promote digital engineering practices, including BIM, 3D modeling, and advanced design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD). -Driving standardization and quality in geographically dispersed teams. -Ensure timely issuance of IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and address technical queries from project sites. -Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team. -Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to secure approvals and resolve design-related concerns. -Managing multiple high-value projects under strict timelines. -Drive value engineering and cost optimization in design without compromising safety or reliability. -Provide expert technical support during construction and commissioning phases. -Identify potential technical risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively. -Maintaining compliance across diverse regulatory environments. -Define engineering strategy, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of all engineering outputs. -Represent the engineering team in internal and external project review meetings. -Establish robust engineering quality processes and review mechanisms. -Ensure compliance with international codes (IEC, ACI, ASTM) and local regulatory standards. -Oversee preparation and validation of civil & structural designs, drawings, and BOQs for substations, foundations, buildings, and associated structures. -Encourage adoption of sustainable and future-ready design solutions. -Lead the Civil & Structural engineering team for substation and special projects in the T&D sector.
