Tasks

-Develop and implement procedures specific to electrical startup operations. -Provide technical oversight and coordination with Technical Field Advisors. -Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and site-specific procedures. -Supervise electrical construction and contractor teams during commissioning. -Develop action plans to address electrical startup challenges and deviations. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Review system descriptions and engineering documentation to validate electrical functionality. -Coordinate and validate electrical system checkout and commissioning activities. -Follow all SU procedures and documentation requirements. -Escalate issues promptly to the Electrical Lead and collaborate on resolution plans. -Comply with the Startup Administration Manual and all project documentation standards. -Execute electrical startup and commissioning activities under the direction of the Electrical Lead. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Record and manage initial run data for electrical equipment. -Participate in project meetings and commissioning reviews as assigned.

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -3-5 years related experience fossil power plant operation/maintenance, and or startup, commissioning protocol. -Self-starter with a proactive attitude and effective communication skills. -Proven ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, engineering/design staff, and vendors. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Adequate knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. -Adequate knowledge of fossil power plants and major equipment/systems design and operation. -Ability to read and interpret drawings and operations manuals. -Adequate knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulations.
