  • Build alliances and seek cross-functional support to achieve success, interfacing with people globally.
  • Facilitation and coordination of workshops, organizational networks and forums, within both office-based and virtual environments
  • Identify and implement system architecture best practices and standards, particularly in support of data-centric execution.
  • Accountable for the project’s standard tools deviation approvals.
  • Responsible for overseeing and supporting the digital delivery scope across projects. This includes development and implementation of the Project Systems & Information Management Plan, application landscape, software selection, software implementation and associated resource plans to meet project contractual requirements.
  • Responsible for project digital execution strategy and data-centric execution.
  • This responsibility extends to coordination and integration where required of Project Delivery Systems across all functions and disciplines, such as Engineering Design Systems, Engineering Data Management Systems (EDM), Engineering Specifications Management, Project Management Systems, Construction Management Systems, Project Control Systems (Estimating, Planning, Cost Control, Progressing), Procurement Systems etc. Third Party hosted systems, information technology Systems and other enterprise systems including iM Infrastructure.
  • Reviewer of change requests that may affect system integrations, data centric delivery and/or information handover.
  • Coordinates with all management and discipline leads covering all project functions (particularly Engineering, Procurement, Construction) to plan and oversee a project’s digital execution.
  • Setup and lead the project digital execution team to promote optimized project delivery through the project lifecycle, through use of integrated, cost-effective, and appropriate technology.
  • Functional management of the project delivery system (PDS / EDS) teams, ensuring effective, set up of system architecture, software procurement, configuration of project systems & integrations.
  • Responsible for delivering the digital scope of a project (systems, system architecture, data, system integrations and workflows) through the project life cycle (engineering and design, construction, commissioning and completions).
  • Engaged in all key bids and endorses digital tools selection and digital execution strategy.
  • Responsible to oversee and support Change Management on all new digital initiatives
  • Responsible for the overall regional digital strategy, the systems technology and the tool selection required to support the regions digital execution optimisation and data-centric delivery to the various customer requirement
  • Functional management of the project’s information management team and responsible for the project’s information policy, strategies, specifications, plans and procedures.
  • Identify the Project Systems and Information Management requirements to meet customer and project expectations; work with stakeholders to select and optimize systems and work processes to deliver to these requirements.

  • Experience in EPC/CM industry digital tools and with strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams.
  • Ownership of and accountability for regions digital execution strategy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer focus with an ability to adopt a consultative approach to frame customer requirements, engage with stakeholders, build consensus and advance opportunities.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power suite (including Power BI) and ability to design, retrieve data, and produce dashboards using Microsoft Office tools
  • Understanding of content management
  • Ability to learn new systems in an autonomous fashion
  • Sound understanding of Digital Delivery techniques and methods to identify and translate functional requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of (and certifications in) Scrum/Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Expert understanding of broader systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to teach and help others. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
  • Experience delivering digital solutions in the resources industry, including relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience
  • Experience building and managing high performing teams, leading by example
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
