Tasks

-Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, establishing yourself as a trusted partner who understands business objectives and challenges -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of potential risk and action plans -Assisting in providing strategic leadership and direction to the internal audit team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development -Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing expert guidance and recommendations on internal control matters, risk mitigation strategies, and process improvements -Serve as a point of contact for external auditors, ensuring effective coordination of audit activities and timely resolution of any identified issues or concerns -Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen risk management practices, and improve overall governance processes -Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in internal audit to provide thought leadership and ensure that the organization remains ahead of regulatory requirements -Establish audit programs, audit documentation, findings, recommendations, work papers, and audit reports to ensure consistency and quality of work -Take a lead role in defining an internal control framework in preparation for SOX compliance -Assisting in establishing departmental goals and objectives in alignment with the organization's overall strategy -Maintain team engagement through continuous conversation and action planning -Recruit, train and develop direct reports, providing guidance on career progression, skill development, and professional growth opportunities -Foster a culture of strong ethics and integrity within the internal audit team, ensuring adherence to professional standards and ethical principles

What You Bring

-Experience with a multinational organization and managing international teams -MBA or advanced degree -Experience in establishing and optimizing on continuous auditing techniques and tools including implementation of AuditBoard tools (SOXHUB, OpsAudit and WorkStream) -Minimum of 15 years experience, with 10 years at an internal audit senior leadership role -Experience with Oracle ERP systems -Experience in conducting ERM and risk-based audits and preparing detailed audit reports -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field -Thorough understanding of auditing standards, techniques, tools (ACL, IDEA, or similar), frameworks -Working knowledge of implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements -Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, executive-level presentation -Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) professional certification is required -Prior experience with a big four accounting firm at a managerial level is a prerequisite
