The Role

Overview

Manage civil-MEP interface coordination on metro rail construction

Tasks

-Maintain effective communication with construction contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of interface issues. -Ensure all interface activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards. -Identify and resolve interface-related issues promptly to avoid delays and disruptions in the construction process. -Facilitate the exchange of technical information and ensure that all parties are aligned on project requirements. -Monitor and ensure the quality of civil and MEP works, adhering to industry standards and project specifications. -Identify potential risks related to interfaces and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. -Coordinate and manage the interfaces between civil and MEP works to ensure smooth integration and alignment with project objectives. -Track and report on the progress of interface activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones. -Maintain comprehensive records of interface activities, decisions, and resolutions for future reference and audit purposes. -Ensuring that all existing employees, potential employees, colleagues, and customers are treated equally and with respect.

What You Bring

-Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented. -Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong understanding of civil and MEP works and their integration in construction projects. -Prior experience working in UAE preferably Dubai will be ideal. -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. -Prior experience working on a metro/rail project will be highly preferred. -Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues. -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. -Ability to join quickly is preferred. -Complying with the relevant employment legislation and codes of practice. -Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in interface management for large-scale construction projects, preferably in metro rail or infrastructure projects. -Proficiency in project management software and tools.
