Tasks

-Promote company policies and philosophies to all technicians and customers while on job location -Represent the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors and owners -Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction -Actively contribute to developing best practices and standard operating procedures -Perform specific preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment -Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times -Complete timely and accurate status reports on all jobs -Assist in the mentoring, training and support for field Service Technicians and Service Coordinators -Advises owner/representative of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken -Assist Area Service Manager with supervision and management of commercial service work and installations -Promptly investigate, report, and take any immediate required attention to mitigate any customer complaints or service issues on all assigned jobs -Use experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements -Responsible for collecting all service technician job write ups by the end of each day -Promptly communicate to all Service Technicians, Service Coordinators, Area Service Managers and Project Managers any service issues on job or special cases that warrant their attention to complete project -Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance

What You Bring

-Experienced with multiple manufacturer software systems (i.e. ABB, Wattmaster, MCS, Trane, Carrier, JCI) -High School Diploma or equivalent -Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training and typically 15+ years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment -Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.) -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties -Ability to work independently & supervisor others -Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record -Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad) -Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s) -Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds -Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required -Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited t mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
