Tasks

-Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). -Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. -Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance. -Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. -May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.

What You Bring

-The ability to install, maintain, and repair minor plumbing systems, including pumps, valves, and piping, is required. -Knowledge of BMS platforms like Niagara Tridium, Siemens, or Johnson Controls is crucial for monitoring and controlling environmental systems. -Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. -Proficiency with CMMS software is needed for tracking and documenting work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities. -Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. -Technicians must be proficient in the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This includes chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units, and air handling units. -Technicians must be able to read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical diagrams to perform maintenance and repairs. -Applicants identified as Mechanical shall have experience with chillers greater than 300 tons, boilers, or significant other mechanical experiences -Must possess an EPA 608 Certification -Applicants must have 6+ years' work experience including 3+ years of direct experience in a critical facility operation, such as a data center or hospital. -Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED or greater -Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. -Journeyman or HVAC Certification -Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. -Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is necessary for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment. -Mechanical applicants must possess an EPA 608 Certification -The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
