Lead geotechnical field and design work for infrastructure projects in Phoenix

Tasks

-Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness -Evaluate and mitigate project risks; contribute to QA/QC processes. -Manage portions of projects or small projects from scoping through final deliverables -Employees are expected to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting that may involve virtual meetings, deadlines, and independent work. -Conduct and oversee field investigations, construction monitoring, and data analysis -Work is conducted using a computer, phone, and virtual collaboration tools, with regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders -Independently execute engineering designs, studies, and technical calculations -Serve as a technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies -Support proposal development and provide input on scopes, schedules, and budgets -Review and develop technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; travel as needed -Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and project documentation tools -5+ years of progressive engineering experience -Effective communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. -Solid knowledge of industry regulations, construction practices, and risk management -Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
