Tasks

-Control the flow and distribution of materials and supplies allocated to customer jobs and ensuring appropriate return and accounting in Empire’s systems of that inventory. -Accounts for accurate physical inventories by performing a thorough inventory in accordance to all SOP’s -Maintains a clean and safe physical condition of the installer loading areas and dumpster area of the parking lot to ensure that it meets all company policies and SOPs -Receive materials and/or inventory. -Completes warehouse operational daily requirements as directed by management -File and maintain all product line job jackets when jobs are completed. -Maintains a safe and clean physical condition of the warehouse and product through organization that is conducive to a clean, organized, efficient and safe environment in accordance to all SOP’s -Provide support during installer check-in each day. -Audit every project to ensure materials are readily available and the scope of work matches the sales contract. -Report and correct inventory discrepancies, such as receiving and picking errors, location (bin) count variances, and inventory loss. -Conducts thorough, acc urate, and frequent inventory cycle counts in accordance to the SOP -Monitor required inventory levels of IW Warehouse stock items by completing post-load-out counts and reporting gaps to management. -Properly conducts accurate inventory cycle counts in accordance with company SOPs and the associated Knowledge Articles (KA). -Performs machinery safety checks and maintains record log as assigned -Handling and processing of returned product. -Track ongoing projects in department. -Accurately select and pick carpet and hard surface materials for orders to be loaded to installers and/or transfer trucks, as applicable. -Store materials and inventory. -Adhere to all posted Federal and State requirements, and all Company safety and operational policies and SOPs. -Adheres to all posted Federal and State requirements, and all Company safety and operational policies and SOPs -Ensure timely loadout of installation subcontractors through process management. -Maintain records of Service Requests and keep updated per Install Manager instructions. -Loading of base materials and IW stock (associated supplies) to assigned sub-contractors. -Conduct all required safety activities, including the proper inspection of all warehouse equipment and machinery that is utilized in the warehouse. -Conducts daily and weekly safety warehouse walk -through ’s as assigned -Prepare, stage, and report inventory variances for all upcoming installation and service orders. -Manage loadout operations for carpet and/or hard surfaces with a target of fifteen minutes per installer subcontractor. -Operates warehouse machinery including, forklift, scissor lift, and carp et cutting machines, in a safe and effective manner in accordance to company and safe ty SOP’s and policies -Ensure supply levels of all installation supplies and support materials are adequate and replace/update as needed. -Reports operational and safety discrepancies by working with direct management and executing necessary action items assigned -Serve as liaison between installation and order management to ensure all data entry issues are controlled and addressed. -Take department phone calls; respond to low-level issues and forward others to Installation Coordinators and Install Managers in a timely manner. -Prepare documents and correspondence such as lists, responses to requests for data and memorandums. -Provide installation support by printing worksheets and compiling worksheet packets. -Filing documents when needed.
