Overview

Lead and oversee health & safety programs for wind, solar, and BESS operations across North America.

Tasks

-Deliver safety training programs such as OSHA 10-Hour, LOTO, confined space rescue, and electrical safety, traveling to sites for instruction. -Lead and participate in working-at-heights and confined space rescue drills to ensure operational safety. -Assess reports and regulatory data to ensure compliance with technical specifications. -Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies aligned with industry standards. -Conduct investigations of incidents and near misses, performing Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions. -Conduct audits of North American sites to determine compliance with internal and external safety regulations. -Draft safety policies, procedures, and forms to ensure regulatory compliance and intuitive use. -Represent ACCIONA Energy USA Global with external organizations and regulatory bodies.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in a safety position, including 2+ years in high-voltage environments. -Strong written and verbal communication skills, including training and report presentation. -Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport. -Willingness to travel 25–50%, including occasional emergency response travel. -Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian HSE regulations, with experience in wind turbine construction or O&M preferred -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat. -Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. -OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 preferred. -Physically capable of working in challenging outdoor environments and at heights up to 120 meters (fit-to-climb medical exam required).
