Overview

Operate metal press machines to fabricate parts per blueprints on 2nd shift.

Tasks

-Maintains and completes all required records. -Follow all safety rules and practices. -Establish and maintain effective working relationships. -Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as press and heavy-duty presses to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal parts specified by blueprints, layouts, and templates. -May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 1 year of experience. -Must be able to read blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup. -Ability to use and troubleshoot hand tools, including measuring tape. -Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. -Capable of setting up and operating conventional equipment with multiple processes of turns. -Possess some knowledge of shop math. -Good knowledge of operating metal fabricating machinery.
