Tasks

-Demonstrate a safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company protocols. -Work collaboratively with Logistics, Operations, and fellow drivers to ensure efficiency. -Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers, ensuring consistent and reliable service. -Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation. -Maintain accurate delivery records, including time logs, mileage, and fuel consumption. -Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other personnel to optimize delivery schedules. -Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating the truck. -Navigate the City of Bellingham and surrounding Whatcom County areas to maintain on-time deliveries. -Safely operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites. -Provide a positive and hassle-free delivery experience for customers. -Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and regular cleaning of the truck (inside and out). -Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. -Unload materials at designated locations while following safety guidelines and procedures.

What You Bring

-Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and Saturdays as needed.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Comfortable working at heights when necessary. -Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
