Tasks

-Perform hydraulic modeling of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including pressure pipe networks. -Prepare engineering reports, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated water infrastructure designs. -Lead and contribute to site civil design efforts, including grading, drainage, stormwater facilities, and utility layout. -Develop and analyze stormwater management systems using ICPR, PCSWMM, InfoWater, and other modeling tools. -Support environmental permitting and coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies. -Prepare FEMA floodplain analyses and compliance documentation. -Provide QA/QC on design deliverables and mentor junior engineering staff.

What You Bring

-Excellent collaboration skills and client communication abilities. -Familiarity with FEMA floodplain analysis, permitting, and regulatory requirements. -Strong technical writing skills and ability to develop high-quality design documentation. -Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering -Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record. -Minimum of 6 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater design and modeling. -Proficient in modeling software such as InfoWater, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, PCSWMM, ICPR, and HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS.
