Overview

Electrical repairs, maintenance & on‑call support for housing portfolio

Tasks

-Conducting periodic inspection and testing in line with regulations (depending on experience) -Supporting void property turnaround to ensure homes are ready for new tenants -Ensuring compliance with the latest electrical safety standards -Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, effective resolutions. -Participating in our on-call rota (currently 1 in every 20 weeks) to respond to emergency repairs -Working respectfully in occupied homes, maintaining a professional and courteous approach

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and manage your own workload -Full UK driving licence -Excellent communication skills and a respectful approach when working in occupied homes -NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent -Proven experience in domestic electrical work, ideally within Domestic or Social Housing environments -City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing - desirable but not essential -Willingness to participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in every 20 weeks) -Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills -18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) -Experience working in both void and tenanted properties -Familiarity with using mobile job management systems or handheld devices
