Tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and conducting IT audits in areas such as NERC compliance, cloud security, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. You will provide guidance to management and IT leadership on control improvements, risk mitigation, system implementations, and process optimization. The position involves utilizing data analytics tools to enhance audit insights. Responsibilities also include evaluating risks related to new digital initiatives, third-party vendors, and changes in the threat landscape. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and support the ongoing development of the IT Audit function.

This role requires more than traditional auditing skills; we value candidates who act as forward-thinking advisors and recognize that technology and security risks are integral to business risk management. We seek candidates with strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, and cloud platforms, as well as a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field experience. A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in IT Audit, IT Risk, GRC, or Cybersecurity, along with a relevant certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA, are required.

The targeted base pay for this position is $125,200 to $146,100 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more. *The pay range is a general guideline.
