Experience in management reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Demonstrable team leadership qualities and experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead month‑end close, statutory reporting, and group submissions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with board‑level exposure.
Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
In‑depth knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS16, particularly lease accounting.
Proven experience in accounting for long‑term contracts.
Track record of coaching and developing finance teams.
Familiarity with M&A financial analysis and bid support.
Strong background in both practice and industry, ideally within construction or engineering.
Advanced data analytics skills (Excel, PowerBI).
