Tasks

This is a senior managerial design role, leading the front-end stages through to DA, driving the conceptual direction while mentoring and inspiring the Sydney design team. Working closely with the national design team, you'll play a key role in shaping the firm's creative output and maintaining its reputation for design excellence. Lead design direction and shape the city skyline on landmark multi-residential within one of Australia's most awarded national design studios. -Drive the Sydney design team by fostering creativity, mentoring junior architects, and guiding project outcomes. -Present to clients, planning authorities and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity. -Contribute to studio-wide design reviews, competitions and national initiatives. -Lead design direction for major multi-residential developments from concept design to DA. -Collaborate directly with the National Design Director and leadership team on strategy and design excellence. -Oversee design quality through documentation and consultant coordination. -Design Leadership: Drive the Sydney design team and influence national creative direction. -Studio-to-Studio Collaboration: Engage with design teams across four offices on shared projects.

What You Bring

-Proven success leading front-end design for large-scale multi-residential projects. -A collaborative approach and confidence managing people, clients and creative processes. -Registration as an Architect (or eligibility for NSW registration). -High proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite and 3D visualisation tools. -Excellent verbal, written and visual presentation skills. -Strong conceptual design skills and fluency in communicating design ideas. -10+ years' experience within an Australian architectural practice.
