Tasks

You will play a central role in producing clear, compelling, and compliant tender submissions. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help shape our win themes, value propositions, and solution narratives. -Producing high-quality written content, graphics, and supporting materials. -Leading the development, editing, and proofing of tender responses. -Working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop win strategies and ensure consistency in value propositions. -Researching and gathering supporting information to strengthen submissions. -Maintaining libraries of case studies, project summaries, and supporting data. -Applying quality assurance processes and incorporating feedback throughout the bid process. -Analysing client requirements and producing answer plans to maximise scoring. -Managing deadlines, leading coordination meetings, and keeping stakeholders updated.

What You Bring

This role is ideal for an experienced writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with technical experts, and has a sharp eye for detail. Who are MJ Church (NOTE - Right to Work required as Visa Sponsorship unavailable for this position) You are an exceptional communicator with a passion for persuasive writing and a proven track record in the construction or civil engineering sector. You have the confidence to translate complex technical information into clear, client-focused responses and the drive to meet demanding deadlines. Collaborative by nature, you thrive when working with multi-disciplinary teams and take pride in delivering high-quality outputs that help secure new work. -Strong organisational and time management skills. -Familiarity with APMP, Shipley, or other bid-writing frameworks (desirable). -Experience with Adobe products, Publisher, or Visio (advantage). -Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills. -Proven bid writing experience (construction or technical environment desirable). -Confidence in leading meetings and collaborating with senior stakeholders. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). -Ability to research, analyse, and present information clearly and concisely.
