Equipment Field Manager (Nights)

Tasks

-Communicates, models, and continuously reinforces the Allan Myers culture and leadership practices with direct reports, including Allan Myers Values, Safety, Delay-Free Production, Ethics Police, and the Collaborative Way. -Assists with the tracking of all maintenance and inspection events to ensure records are complete, accurate and compliant. -Assists with management of telematic systems to ensure they are reporting accurately. -Serves as a technical advisor to shop & field mechanics and employees for all vehicle and equipment maintenance. -Effectively trains, coaches, and develops employees to achieve and maintain positive working relationship within the shop. Applies appropriate influence while adhering to established policies and procedures. -Manages effective vehicle and equipment maintenance, repair, and safety practices. -Assists with maintaining maintenance records.

What You Bring

Allan Myers is looking for an experienced, dedicated, and hard-working individual to serve as a technical advisor on all vehicle and equipment issues regarding the Allan Myers fleet. This individual schedules and manages maintenance and assists the management team with maintaining equipment budgets and potential equipment acquisitions and disposals. Coordinates and assists with the implementation of department strategies and initiatives. Conducts work in accordance with all Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs. -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with office and field personnel. -High school diploma required, technical school degree in Diesel or Automotive preferred. -Must have ability to work independently, professionally, and under pressure. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Proficient with equipment related diagnostic software. -Must possess practical knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment and related vehicles. -5-10 years of experience in construction equipment maintenance (such as master mechanic or equipment management), or equivalent combination of technical training and experience. -Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel and Outlook, in particular).
