Tasks

-Perform detailed and complex inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using a variety of precision measurement tools and visual techniques. -Contribute to the analysis of quality data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for process improvement. -Document and report all inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying any deviations or non-conforming products. -Ensure all inspection activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. -Initiate non-conformance reports (NRs) and collaborate with Supplier engineering, product, and management teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions. -Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors on inspection procedures, quality standards, and the proper use of equipment. -Participate in the development and refinement of inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans. -Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure product conformance.

What You Bring

-Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. -Must be proficient in basic electrical theory and skilled in inspecting cable harnesses to ensure quality and functionality. -Have a solid understanding of basic electrical theory and experience in cable harness inspection. -Strong proficiency with a range of inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). -Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. -Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus. -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control or product inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
