Tasks

As the Director of Civil Engineering for Land Development, you will lead business development initiatives, manage a talented team of engineers and support staff, and spearhead the regional strategy for our land development projects. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in civil engineering, a proven track record in land development, and exceptional leadership and business development skills. -Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals, presentations, and negotiations. -Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of civil engineers and support staff. -Ensure the successful delivery of land development projects from inception to completion. -Oversee the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements. -Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development. -Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. -Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. -Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance our visibility and reputation. -Develop and execute regional strategies to drive growth and profitability in the land development market. -Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our market presence and secure new land development projects.

What You Bring

-Proven track record in business development and client relationship management. -Professional Engineer (PE) license required. -Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on land development (commercial and/or SFD). -Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field -Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
