Tasks
-Shape the growth strategy for Kleinfelder’s Northern California Area Transportation -Work in a matrixed work environment, interacting with business development and operations teams, and maintaining close communications with the client to represent their needs effectively. -Occasional travel to attend industry, client and teaming partner meetings as needed -Understand the clients’ business needs and develop innovative value-added solutions and cost-effective recommendations to exceed the clients’ needs. -Proactively network with clients, teaming partners and industry partners to understand the market trends, needs and future opportunities that creates a Return on the Investment. -Coordinate project delivery and proposal teams with clear and succinct communication as to the client requirements and differentiation strategies. -Drive sales from a select group of targeted clients in the transportation, aviation, and infrastructure market. -Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and teaming partners in providing engineering, construction, and professional consulting services in a trusted advisory role.

What You Bring
-6-7 years of management experience desired. -Strategic thinker and leader. -Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Minimum 9-12 years of proven progressive experience in transportation infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, rail/transit, aviation, and ports/harbors). -Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related technical field. -10 + years of direct interaction with Northern California project stakeholders (CALTRANS / DOT’s, municipalities, transportation engineering firms, design/build contractors, etc.). -Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. -5-6 years of supervisory/management experienced desired. -High attention to detail, finances, and good problem-solving skills. -Results oriented and utilizes change management skills to maximize revenue.
