Implement quantity calculations for pay estimates.
Assists in the preparation of contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other documents or reports required by the project.
Actively participate in Kleinfelder’s Safety Programs.
Performs analytical calculations such as basic earthwork, grading, profiles, and special staking procedures.
Must adhere to all project contract documentation and testing of materials associated with inspections.
Verifies lines and grades of project improvements.
Inspects and monitors construction sites and the various work activities on these sites to verify adherence to standards, codes, and specifications.
Coordinate and perform field testing of materials associated with inspection as required.
May direct and coordinate assigned staff as well as mentor’s technical expertise with others.
Prepares and submits daily reports documenting inspections and other relevant project information.

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Current/valid State Driver's License REQUIRED with acceptable driving record.
Knowledge and experience with equipment used in construction inspection, and field testing of construction materials.
Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements.
Ability to act as the on-site Administrator in the absence of the on-site Administrator.
Construction field materials testing certifications, i.e. Asphalt, concrete, workzone, pavement marking, environmental, etc.
Associate degree or equivalent to include courses in related work type.
Able to work independently, make routine decisions concerning construction work progress.
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English fluently.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a fingerprint/background check.
Communicates verbally and in writing with contractor, owner, and project stakeholders as directed.
Minimum 5 years in the field or in trade-related training in a design, construction inspection, construction materials engineering/testing, or other construction related field.
