Tasks
We are hiring a Senior Credit/Collections Manager to join our team in Shelton, CT. This key role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, evaluating customer credit, and ensuring timely collection while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. The Senior Credit/Collections Manager plays an integral role in the organization's financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, operational support, risk management, and collaborative efforts across various departments. -Manage staff responsible for cash application and collection resolution. -Ensure timely collection of receivables through proactive management of AR aging. -Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers; authorize and monitor customer credit limits. -Monitor payment trends and advise management of significant changes in customer behavior. -Establish and maintain customer relationships in support of both sales and credit. -Coordinate with legal department or collection agencies as necessary on asset recovery strategies and tactics.

What You Bring
-Excellent analytical and communication skills. -Experience with proper procedures for month-end cutoff transactions and reconciliation of subledgers to the General Ledger. -Minimum 5 years of related experience. -Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with NetSuite is preferred. -Ability to work with multiple entities within an organization. -High level of independent work ethic and integrity.
