Tasks

-Develop manufacturing details and release engineering packages for customized orders -Provide exceptional production support throughout the manufacturing process -Complete detailed engineering drawings for sales and customer review within established lead times -Offer professional guidance and proposals regarding design and layouts of products specified for custom customer projects -Collaborate with operations, shared services, sales, and peer teams in efforts to optimize designs for cost, manufacturing, installation, and project integration -Design and manage design projects from conception to completion

What You Bring

-Practical knowledge of welding and machining operations -University degree or college diploma in Engineering -Excellent knowledge of Solid Works or other 3D CAD software -Previous HVAC industry experience in design, manufacturing, or sales -Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills -Knowledge of North American building and fire codes and standards -Aptitude with personal hand tools and power tools used in commercial construction -Superior initiative, self-motivation, professionalism, and ethics -Exposure to sheet metal cutting and forming processes -Comprehensive understanding of product design and engineering standards -Aptitude to work in both imperial and metric units of measurement -Regularly utilize knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology -Ability to travel internationally -Experience with ERP software, including BOMs, material allocation and product configurations
