Tasks

-Handling job cash flow -Constructing project teams from internal and external resources -Planning and managing projects -Comply with client/contractor HSEQ requirements and complete site inductions before mobilizing on-site. -Report any HSEQ incidents promptly to the WME HSEQ Department and to legal authorities, if necessary. -Applying policies related to health and safety, quality, and training -Motivating and guiding professional teams to deliver client solutions -Liaising with clients, design teams, contractors, and authorities -Procuring project resources -Guiding the development of engineers and the design team -Implement and manage HSEQ procedures in the workplace. -Motivating the team -Review and provide feedback on deliverables produced by the team. -Ensuring customer satisfaction -Actively participating in the development of company procedures and task groups. -Build and maintain relationships with clients and architects. -Ensuring project quality -May take on the role of Project Engineer for certain projects. -Conducting bi-annual performance reviews for team members -Prepare drawings, calculations, and models, and review work produced by subordinates. -Set an example by adhering to company procedures, policies, and operational controls. -Managing a team of 12-15 people -Contributing to the strategic direction of the business -Ensuring compliance with QA, HSE, and CDM requirements -Negotiating fees and requesting additional fees when applicable -Address issues proactively and offer solutions rather than focusing solely on problems. -Understand, implement, and adhere to WME’s HSEQ policies. -Training and developing engineers -Presenting to clients -Ensure familiarity with CAD standards and 3D working within the team. -Understanding and supporting the company’s business plan, mission, and key challenges -Participate in the marketing and promotion of the practice. -Ensuring team profitability -Preparing proposals for client/project agreements with Directors -Managing job profitability -Act as a representative for WME during new project interviews. -Oversee all aspects of a portfolio of projects as Project Manager, collaborating with a Project Director or Associate Director on larger, complex projects. -Represent the company as ambassadors. -Representing the practice on projects under their control. -Leading multi-disciplinary or single-discipline projects -Managing day-to-day operations -Lead regular team meetings and manage a team of engineers in partnership with another Associate. -Begin driving business growth and developing new client relationships, with annual targets to be established.

What You Bring

-Proven track record as a Senior Project Engineer across multiple projects. -Persuasion and Influence -Being commercially astute -In-depth knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment, and claim assessment. -A minimum of 14+ years of experience in the relevant field. -Graduate/Chartered Engineer qualification required. -Agree on design philosophy and fundamentals. -Possess detailed knowledge of analytical concepts. -Demonstrate strong competency in influencing and motivating both staff and clients. -Communication and Presentation
