Tasks

They are now seeking a Senior Wind Turbine Technician to support electrical performance and reliability of their Onshore Wind assets across the UK. This is a key technical role, providing expertise to operations while ensuring safe and compliant performance of electrical infrastructure across multiple sites. -Conduct, support, manage and review the RCA analysis on electrical component failures. -Maintain site grid compliance by responding to queries and audits. -Perform the procurement, requisitions, purchase orders from spares parts, new parts and suppliers. -Manage preventive and corrective electrical infrastructure maintenance on BOP, switchgears, transformers, generators and converters. -Manage the internal HV team. -Improve wind sites availability by assessing the condition of electrical components and providing solutions when issues occur. -Review reports from preventive and corrective interventions and perform the appropriate follow up. -Provide technical assistance and electrical engineering knowledge to the operations, procurement and health and safety teams.

What You Bring

-Experience with Renewable Generation sites (Wind experience desirable) -Experience with HV Switching -Able to be part of an on-call rota that provides 24/7 support -Eligible to live and work in the UK -Experienced Senior Authorised Person (to at least 33kv minimum)
